MSNBC: Obama 'Dropped the Ball Again' on Ebola

October 29, 2014

President Obama "dropped the ball" in his handling of the Ebola crisis, Joe Scarborough said Wednesday on Morning Joe.

"Certainly, the general feeling is he dropped the ball again on Ebola," Scarborough said.

Co-host Mika Brzezinski voiced her concerns as well.

"There's still a lot of unanswered questions about how to deal with Americans potentially exposed to Ebola," Brzezinski said.

There is still confusion over what the President’s policies are and how they should be implemented. Scarborough noted the "inconsistency" between the President’s call for a quarantine of American soldiers working in West Africa and his pushback against quarantines in New York and New Jersey.

Ron Klain's role as Ebola czar has also come into question.

"We now know that Ron Klain was not supposed to be a czar," guest Mark Halperin said. "He’s an internal facilitator and coordinator."
