A Bernie Sanders fan on MSNBC Wednesday certainly knew how to stay on message.
Nevada Sanders delegate Angie Morelli used the death threats being leveled by fellow Bernie fans against the Nevada State Democratic chair as proof the country needs a single-payer health care system, in order to help them with their mental problems.
"The death threats are super unfortunate," she said. "I completely agree that's not something that should happen, but at the same time that's a different conversation where we should be talking about mental health issues and perhaps getting single-payer health care to help these people out."
The far-left Vermont senator has called for a single-payer Medicare-for-all system, while opponent Hillary Clinton has focused more on what she calls improvements on the current Obamacare system.
Morelli appeared with Thomas Roberts to address the chaos that broke out last weekend in Nevada that has the Democratic Party in a state of turmoil.
Booing and fighting broke out at the Nevada State Democratic convention over the weekend when Sanders supporters felt the process was being rigged to cheat their candidate out of delegates. Party chair Roberta Lange has been besieged with threats and harassment in the period since.
DNC chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D., Fla.) slammed Sanders on Tuesday for giving a passive response to the chaos, calling it "anything but acceptable."
Morelli said the party's process in Nevada was "not very democratic" and predicted the race against Hillary Clinton would head to a contested convention.
