Actor Peter Fonda on Wednesday called on his Twitter followers to target Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in large-scale protests by surrounding their homes and children's schools.
The Easy Rider star and brother of left-wing activist Jane Fonda wrote a series of tweets, nearly all in capital letters and filled with expletives, in which he castigated immigration agents and described in graphic detail punishments that he wants members of President Donald Trump's family and top Trump administration officials to receive.
"Wanna stop this fucking monster? Really wanna stop this giant asshole?" Fonda wrote. "90 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE STREETS ON THE SAME WEEKEND! THESE REPUBLICAN ASSHOLES ARE ALL IN ON IT! THE CHIEF ASSHOLE IS HAPPY WE ARE ALL VERY UPSET. WE HAVE TO GET EVEN MORE ANGRY WITH THESE REPUBLICANS."

"WE SHOULD HACK THIS SYSTEM, GET THE ADDRESSES OF THE ICE AGENTS CBP [Customs and Border Protection] AGENTS AND SURROUND THEIR HOMES IN PROTEST," Fonda added in a second tweet. "WE SHOULD FIND OUT WHAT SCHOOLS THEIR CHILDREN GO TO AND SURROUND THE SCHOOLS IN PROTEST. THESE AGENTS ARE DOING THIS CUZ THEY WANT TO DO IT. THEY LIKE DOING THIS. FUCK."
In a third tweet sent minutes later, Fonda targeted Trump's youngest son, Barron, who is 12.
"WE SHOULD RIP BARRON TRUMP FROM HIS MOTHER'S ARMS AND PUT HIM IN A CAGE WITH PEDOPHILES AND SEE IF MOTHER WILL WILL STAND UP AGAINST THE GIANT ASSHOLE SHE IS MARRIED TO," Fonda wrote. "90 MILLION PEOPLE IN THE STREETS ON THE SAME WEEKEND IN THE COUNTRY. FUCK."
The Office of the First Lady notified the Secret Service of the apparent threat against Barron Trump, the Daily Caller first reported.
"The tweet is sick and irresponsible and USSS has been notified," said Stephanie Grisham, spokesperson for First Lady Melania Trump.
President Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., also commented on Fonda's tweets.
"You're clearly a sick individual and everyone is an internet badass but rather than attack an 11 year old like a bully and a coward why don't you pick on someone a bit bigger. LMK," he wrote.

In separate tweets, Fonda also targeted Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and White House policy adviser Stephen Miller. The actor said that Nielsen should be put in a cage and then whipped naked in public, and that Sanders' children should be taken away from her. He also compared Miller to Joseph Goebbels, the minister of propaganda in Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler's right-hand man.
Fonda's tweets come amid a fiery debate in the U.S. over the Trump administration's zero-tolerance immigration policy, which has led thousands of children to be separated from their parents who are prosecuted for crossing the border into the U.S. illegally.
