Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, better known as the pro-Donald Trump online duo "Diamond and Silk," testified under oath before the House Judiciary Committee on Thursday.
During the congressional hearing, the two social media personalities had many noteworthy moments sparring with lawmakers.
Hardaway and Richardson alleged that Facebook censored them and other conservatives, including Trump, on the social networking website, though some news outlets have reported that their claim has been debunked. The two women also denied being paid by the Trump campaign, told one congressman that he reads fake news, and said they just want the ability to achieve the American dream.
Steadfast supporters of Donald J. Trump, as they refer to him, Diamond and Silk make YouTube videos through their channel "The Viewers View" and "stump for Trump" with ferocious enthusiasm. The videos have become so popular that the sisters have appeared at Trump rallies and done television interviews.
