Talented, embattled young adults have traditionally found sanctuary (and a college diploma) at member universities of the Southeastern Conference.
Following in the steps of fallen stars Zach Mettenberger and Cam Newton, the former Miss Delaware Teen USA Melissa King is now enrolled at the University of Arkansas.
The SEC likes winners, never minding their sordid past. King resigned her title after it was discovered she appeared in a porno.
King also found herself in hot water for underage alcohol possession.
But she has found a home at Arkansas. Razorback running back Alex Collins has welcomed King with open arms.
King's infractions for sex and booze make her one of the SEC's least-tarnished troublemakers. Ex-Georgia football player Isaiah Crowell got popped for a felony weapons charge.
Despite her past indiscretions, King fits right along with southern speed.
King remains resolute against the critics at her new home.

If King was looking to find a place that would look past her mistakes as long as she performed out on the field, she found it in the SEC.
