Democrats are not running to Hillary Clinton’s aid when it comes to her email scandal. On Sunday morning, Dianne Feinstein said that she hopes Hillary Clinton will come forward and say what is going on. Feinstein also said that the silent treatment that Hillary is giving is hurting more than it is helping.
Anne Gearan of the Washington Post argued that Clinton’s experience as Secretary of State was supposed to be her qualification for president. The scandal surrounding Clinton and her personal email use has reminded voters why they do not like her.
Gearan also said that the email scandal could be drawing questions about Clinton and how she ran the State Department.
"It calls into question sort of how she ran things at the State Department," Gearan said." Whether she was flouting the White House by not following its advice, if not exact full-on directive to use a government e-mail server. And whether she was trying to hide her e-mails from public disclosure."
