Donald Trump's communications director Jason Miller stopped by MSNBC on Tuesday to discuss the "caliber" of the people who the president-elect met with earlier in the day at Trump Tower, which included Kanye West, Jim Brown, and Bill Gates.
Trump ushered in A-list celebrities and other prominent figures for meetings at his New York office. Rapper and fashion designer Kanye West met with Trump on Tuesday, as did NFL legend Jim Brown and Microsoft's Bill Gates.
Host Kate Snow asked Miller what Trump discussed in these meetings, specifically the one with Kanye West, who is also widely known as Yeezy or Yeezus.
"E! News is reporting based on a source close to Kanye West, that he and the president-elect discussed him becoming 'an ambassador of sorts.' What do you know?" Snow asked.
Miller touted the "caliber" of the men who stopped by to meet with Trump, calling the three "some of the biggest and brightest" the country has to offer. He then said West has many different things he can help Trump with.
"The president-elect is pretty creative when he finds ways to put people to use. I think it's more an ambassador into a number of different communities," Miller said.
Miller then mentioned the social media reach Kanye West can bring to the Trump presidency.
Kanye tweeted that the two discussed "multicultural issues" that included "bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago."
