President Donald Trump tweeted Friday that "everyone" at the G-20 summit in Germany was talking about John Podesta and his refusal to give the Democratic National Committee server to federal authorities.
"Everyone here is talking about why John Podesta refused to give the DNC server to the FBI and the CIA. Disgraceful!" he wrote.
The tweet was a reference to Podesta and the Democratic Party declining federal assistance as his and the DNC's emails were breached and leaked during the 2016 election. The top U.S. intelligence agencies have said Russia was behind the cyber attack.
Podesta served as chairman of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign but was not head of the DNC.
This was the second straight day Trump went against the tradition of stopping politics at the "water's edge;" he also lambasted U.S. news media and former President Barack Obama on Thursday in Poland.
Trump also wrote he was looking forward to his meetings in Hamburg with world leaders, including an anticipated one-on-one with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump and Putin have already met and exchanged pleasantries ahead of their later bilateral discussion, according to media reports.

Trump also thanked everyone, "including the haters," for the "great reviews" of his address in Warsaw, Poland, a day earlier. He added that he would represent U.S. interests abroad even if the "Fake News Media will never cover me accurately."
My experience yesterday in Poland was a great one. Thank you to everyone, including the haters, for the great reviews of the speech!
