Sherrod Brown Staffer Seen Parking in Handicap Space

A staff member for Sen. Sherrod Brown (D., Ohio) was seen parking in a handicap spot by a tracker for America Rising on Wednesday. Brown was attending a roundtable at a Toledo United Auto Workers hall, according to NTK Network.

As the staff member is seen leaving the vehicle, the tracker confronts them.

"Didn’t realize you guys had a handicap parking sticker," the tracker said.

"Oh, I'm sorry," the staffer responded before returning to the vehicle and moving to a different section of the parking lot.

Local residents have been frustrated that government officials without disabilities are parking in spots reserved for those with disabilities, according to NTK Network.

"I feel like they’re using their power unnecessarily," one local resident said.

Brown is up for reelection in 2018 and is expected to face a tough battle in a state President Trump won in 2016.
