Powers, Stirewalt Blast University of Arkansas Librarian, Clinton Donor for Attack on Free Press

Powers: 'Why is Hillary sort of chuckling about this? It’s a really heinous crime'

A Fox News panel came down hard on the University of Arkansas after they banned the Washington Free Beacon from their library following Alana Goodman, a reporter at the Free Beacon, revealing tapes of Hillary Clinton laughing while discussing her legal defense of a child rapist.

"It’s terrible obviously. You can’t have a situation where you have a university, which is supposed to be a place of learning and finding information, saying that you can’t have access to facts…It’s completely inexcusable. I actually don’t know how they could come up with any kind of explanation of how this would comport with the university," Kirsten Powers told Martha MacCallum and Chris Stirewalt Friday night on The Kelly File.

Chris Stirewalt weighed in on the free speech violation, saying "This is the old world versus the new world." He added "They [the Washington Free Beacon] are all Twitterfied and out there doing all of their stuff. It’s a digital platform, new look, new kind of journalism, and the old world- the Clinton World- can’t quite figure out what to do with that."

Powers noted the heavy nature of the material over which Clinton laughed. The rape victim was raped and beaten and was in a coma for five days following the brutal rape. "Why is Hillary sort of chuckling about this? It’s a really heinous crime," Powers said.
