MSNBC Ruins Jill Stein Voter's Day

November 8, 2016

MSNBC reporter Kerry Sanders ruined a young Green Party voter's day on Tuesday when he told her the very long odds facing Dr. Jill Stein on Election Day.

Sanders asked a young Florida woman what compelled her to vote in her first presidential election.

"I just want my voice to be heard and for all the young people who are going to school, so I placed my vote for Jill Stein, and I hope she wins!" she said. "Even though it's going to be a short race, but, I mean–"

"You know she's not going to win, is what you're saying," Sanders said.

That appeared to annoy the young voter.

"Well, according to all of the, you know, the media, it's either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, but, everyone, there's other people to vote for!" she said, speaking directly to the camera. "There's other people, so let your voice be heard and research and go online and don't listen to the media."

Sanders chuckled, saying, "Well, other than the fact we are the media and you're on the air."

The far-left Stein is at 1.9 percent in the latest Real Clear Politics polling average. She made a point of targeting supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) during her presidential campaign.
