MSNBC Anchor Goes Off on Trump: Integrity 'Went Out the Window a While Ago'

MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle went off on President Trump during her live news show Friday, saying that integrity "went out the window" when talking about him "a while ago."

Ruhle made the remarks while discussing Trump's decision to fire former FBI Director James Comey with her guest Clint Watts, a former federal agent.

Ruhle asked Watts about Comey's controversial dinner with Trump and where he thought there was concern.

"I think it's about integrity," Watts said. "I think Director Comey—"

"Hold on," Ruhle said. "Integrity is something that kind of went out the window a while ago. I mean, let's be honest."

Ruhle then delved into the infamous "Access Hollywood" tape that surfaced during the presidential campaign in which Trump was overheard making crude remarks about sexual misconduct toward women.

"When we elected a president who had a tape—I'm not going to even use the word at this point—we're going to call it the 'Access Hollywood' tape," she said. "We can't possibly say losing integrity is the issue here. Integrity wasn't what elected President Trump. People held their nose, looked the other way, and said, 'I'm going to vote for him because he's going to get stuff done.'"
