MSNBC host Lawrence O'Donnell appeared to tell viewers the government shutdown would affect Utahans with the shutdown of Yellowstone National Park Thursday, but the iconic American park is not located in Utah.
The park is located primarily in Wyoming, but it also extends into parts of Montana and Idaho.
O'Donnell's colleague Toure Neblett made a geographic error of his own on The Cycle Sept. 23, incorrectly identifying Kenya as being on the northern coast of Africa.
