Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani slammed the Democratic gubernatorial candidate as the person in politics he disrespects most.
Giulani made the comment while speaking at a campaign rally for Crist’s opponent, Gov. Rick Scott, in Miami, Fla., on Wednesday.
"I have met a lot of people in politics…I’ve never met a person in politics that I disrespect more than Charlie Crist," Giuliani said to the cheering crowd.
Giuliani’s distain for Crist began during the 2008 presidential election. Then-Republican Governor Crist allegedly promised Giuliani his endorsement for president, but then endorsed John McCain instead.
Recent polls show Scott and Crist tied.
