Greatest Campaign Ad of All Time Released

A Missouri Republican gubernatorial candidate released an ad featuring him firing a fully-automatic mini-gun, which likely contributed to his primary victory this week.

The ad, titled "Big Guns," was released on Sunday by Eric Greitens’ campaign for governor. The machine gun ad came a mere three days before Greitens emerged victorious in a hotly contested primary.

"We have a culture of political corruption in Jefferson City," Greitens told the Kansas City Star. "We have corrupt politicians, well-paid lobbyists, and special-interest insiders taking the state in the wrong direction."

In the ad, Greitens, a former Navy SEAL, sits calmly as he expends hundreds of rounds of ammunition near a scenic Missouri pond on a sunny afternoon. A voice-over declares Greitens is a "conservative warrior" and that "when he fights back, he brings the big guns."

The ad also claims that Greitens will "set his sights on politics as usual, reduce spending, create jobs, protect life, defend the Second Amendment, and fight Obama’s Democrat machine and their corrupt attacks."

As fire spews from the barrel, Greitens can be seen smiling.

"I’m Eric Greitens," he said at the end of the ad. "Join our mission. Let’s take back Missouri."
