A federal investigation into the "scandalous" closure of a New Jersey bridge found no connection with Republican Gov. Chris Christie, NBC reports.
The nine-month investigation did not uncover any indications that Christie had advance knowledge or ordered the closure of the George Washington Bridge. The closure caused a massive traffic headache in the state.
The Washington Free Beacon's David Rutz pointed out that MSNBC host Alex Wagner was obsessed with "Bridgegate" and convinced that the governor was somehow involved in the scandal.
