Sen. Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.) is not the only one to notice that the Senate is working together and getting things accomplished.
Sen. Dick Durbin, (D., Ill.) whom has been in the Senate since 1997, took the time during the Keystone XL pipeline hearing to comment the current Senate reminds him of the way the Senate acted when he was first elected.
"What we have seen over the last several weeks is the Senate I remember. The Senate I was elected to. The Senate where there was active debate, deliberation, amendments. And for some members, it’s a new experience," remarked Durbin.
The Senate that Harry Reid ran was notorious for having constant gridlock with very little getting done.
