Senator Kyrsten Sinema (D., Ariz.) chooses "happiness" over watching the Democratic presidential debates, according to Politico.

The first-term Democrat said she refuses to watch her party's 2020 presidential hopefuls attack one another on stage.

"I'm not missing anything," Sinema said. "I prefer happiness. Look how happy I am."

Some of Sinema's Senate colleagues, including Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.), Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.), Cory Booker (D., N.J.), and Amy Klobuchar (D., Minn.), are mainstays in the televised debates as they vie to challenge President Donald Trump in 2020. The next debate will take place Nov. 20 in Georgia.
