Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi's (N.Y.) office recently asked if it is possible for airlines to hold flights to wait for the congressman when he is late.

A staffer in Suozzi's office emailed counterparts in other congressional offices inquiring whether it is possible to keep a plane full of people stuck while waiting for Suozzi, Page Six reports.

"Do your members ever ask you to see if an airline can hold flights for them when they are running a couple minutes late? Particularly for Delta or American Airlines at La Guardia Airport," the staffer wrote. "If so, please let me know how you handle, who you call, etc."

Suozzi had also posted a video on Facebook complaining that he was stuck at the airport for two hours after being two minutes late for his original flight.
