Hillary for America staffers Robby Mook and Jennifer Palmieri said on Friday that their candidate is as inspirational as Barack Obama, a claim that drew laughs and jeers from a New York City audience.
"Is Hillary Clinton as inspirational as Barack Obama?" Politico's Mike Allen asked the staffers during a "cocktail conversation" at New York University.
"Yes," Palmieri shot back, as Mook and the audience guffawed. "Yes," Palmieri repeated.
"I am inspired by both Hillary Rodham Clinton and Barack Obama," Mook added.
