Clinton Confronted About Releasing Wall Street Transcripts: 'When Everybody Does It, I Will Do It'

Hillary Clinton was met with resounding boos when she shrugged off releasing the transcripts to her pricey Wall Street speeches at the CNN Democratic debate Thursday.

"When everybody does it, okay, I will do it," Clinton said, and the audience booed in disapproval. She then argued that everyone should be held to "the same standard."

Despite being asked about her Wall Street ties, Clinton attacked Sanders for not releasing his tax returns, a tactic that she has used in response to questions about her Wall Street ties in the past.

"There is a long-standing expectation that everybody running release their tax returns," Clinton said. "You can go to my website and see eight years of tax returns, and I've released 30 years of tax returns, and I think every candidate, including Senator Sanders and Donald Trump, should do the same."

Clinton has earned millions from giving speeches to big banks. Despite being paid $200,000 an hour for her Wall Street appearances, Clinton has vowed that they have "never, ever" influenced her policies.
