Brzezinski Asks Fellow MSNBC Analyst to Assess Trump's Mental 'Stability'

MSNBC "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski questioned President Donald Trump's mental state on Wednesday, asking if the president suffered from a "stability issue."

Brzezinski asked MSNBC senior political analyst Mark Halperin about the president's mental state.

"To use Corker's word, Mark Halperin, is this a stability issue?" Brzezinski said. "Because I feel like some might argue when you see him off prompter, he doesn't really seem to be there, he doesn't really connect with the reality of the situation."

Brzezinski was referencing comments from Sen. Bob Corker (R., Tenn.), however, Corker's comments were in regard to Trump's political and communications "stability," and not his mental state.

Host Joe Scarborough repeatedly asked Brzezinski what she was referring to.

"What's your question?" Scarborough asked.

"I'm asking if this is a stability issue," Brzezinski said.

"By the way, Doctor Halperin is only a doctor on TV," Scarborough joked regarding Brzezinski's comments.

Halperin is an author, senior political analyst, and editor who received a  B.A. degree in 1987. He is not a doctor. Neither is Brzezinski who received a B.A. in English in 1989.
