On the first anniversary of Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel's tenure, we look back on some of his brighter moments this past year.
Hagel asked an Indian professor if he was a "member of the Taliban," told military members that sequestration would "make them stronger," and declared a question about Syria to be "not my area," among other fine soundbites.
Hagel's confirmation process was also troublesome, as he dealt with past anti-Israel statements and stumbled badly in his confirmation hearing.
