King: 'I can’t understand why the White House did this'

CNN’s John King railed against the White House for their coverup about the newly released Benghazi emails that show the administration attempted to insulate the President from backlash over his inaction regarding the attacks.

White House press secretary Jay Carney and ABC’s Jon Karl engaged in a heated exchange Wednesday about the content of the emails. When pressed, Carney told Karl that the emails were centered around protests in the Middle East, not the Benghazi attack specifically.

King responded to Carney’s coverup, telling his panelists and viewers, "I don’t know how you can say this is not about Benghazi. If you look at the timeline of events, I can’t understand why the White House did this…"
