Hours after the release of whistleblower testimony detailing how Hunter Biden invoked Joe Biden's name to threaten a Chinese business partner, the first son attended a state dinner at the White House for Indian prime minister Narendra Modi.

Among the 400 guests at the state dinner for Modi on Thursday were Hunter Biden, his uncle Jim Biden, who has been implicated in the family's overseas business dealings, and former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin. Hunter Biden's appearance came hours after congressional Republicans released testimony from whistleblowers at the Internal Revenue Service who accused the Biden administration of slow-walking its investigation and reducing tax fraud charges for Hunter Biden, who reached a plea deal on Tuesday.

Hunter ignored a reporter's question at the dinner about how he felt "after taking the plea deal."

One IRS whistleblower, Gary Shapley, detailed in the report released Thursday a message he discovered during his investigation of Hunter Biden's tax crimes. In a message sent on July 30, 2017, to a Chinese official, Hunter Biden typed that he was sitting next to his father and that "we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled."

Hours after the message was delivered, Hunter Biden was photographed at his father’s home sitting in Joe Biden's car.

Other revelations from the report include that Hunter Biden deducted payments to sex clubs and hookers on his tax returns. The report also said that the IRS recommended felony tax charges but that the Biden Justice Department balked.

Jim Biden was involved in the family's foreign business dealings. Abedin was a longtime Clinton aide and ex-wife of sexual predator Anthony Weiner.
