House Republicans want details on Hunter Biden's use of Air Force Two when his father was vice president.

The House Oversight Committee, chaired by Rep. James Comer (R., Ky.), demanded the National Archives hand over flight records showing Biden's use of the plane, following a report by Fox News that the first son tagged along with then-vice president Joe Biden on trips to at least 15 countries.

"Then-Vice President Biden’s misuse of Air Force Two and Marine Two is indicative of yet another way in which the President has abused his various offices of public trust and wasted taxpayer money to benefit his family’s enterprise, which consisted of nothing more than access to Joe Biden himself," Comer and committee member Byron Donalds (R., Fla.) wrote to the National Archives.

Republicans demanded an answer by Sept. 13 as they continue to probe the president's role in his son's business affairs.

Hunter Biden, who at the time was actively making overseas business deals, traveled on Air Force Two around the world, including to Europe, Asia, and Africa. In one 2010 email recovered from Hunter Biden's laptop, he suggested he could "catch a ride" with his father to Europe in order to meet Serbian government officials with his business partner.

The request comes amid reports that the National Archives appears to have confirmed that more than 5,000 emails may exist in which then-vice president Joe Biden used pseudonyms while discussing government and personal matters.

The agency made the disclosure in an email response last year to a Freedom of Information Act request from the Southeastern Legal Foundation, which requested emails connected to known aliases for Biden, including Robin Ware, Robert L. Peters, and JRB Ware. The foundation released the response from the National Archives after it filed a lawsuit this week demanding the agency release the emails.

In a May 2016 email to Biden's alias account under the name Robert Peters, a staffer for the then-vice president discussed an upcoming phone meeting between Biden and then-Ukrainian president Petro Poroshenko. Hunter Biden, who at the time was on the board of Ukrainian energy giant Burisma Holdings, was copied on the email.
