Several House Democrats have made it clear that they will not be attending Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech Tuesday.
President Obama’s cabinet has also made itself conveniently unavailable to attend the speech. Both the vice president and the secretary of the state will be travelling abroad.
In Monday’s White House press briefing, Press Secretary Josh Earnest was asked if Obama would at least tune into the speech. Earnest said that he had not looked at the president’s schedule but was doubtful Obama he would watch it.
