A Florida man armed with a gun subdued a robber who stabbed several people in a grocery store parking lot on Sunday.

Bobby Martin Watson is accused of stabbing three people in Seminole, Fla., after attempting to steal a woman's purse. Police told the St. Pete Patch Watson then stabbed the woman in her thigh and abdomen when he couldn't get her purse. That's when Christopher McMann attempted to intervene and stop Watson before being stabbed in the back. As Watson fled the scene with McMann chasing him, another man, Travis Jones, joined the chase in an attempt to stop the knife-wielding robber.

Eventually the two good Samaritans were able to tackle Watson. During the scuffle Jones ended up being stabbed in the abdomen.

Police said Donald Rush then arrived on the scene with a gun he had retrieved from his car.

Rush was then able to disarm Watson and hold him at gunpoint until police arrived on the scene. The three stabbing victims were then transported to Bayfront Medical Center to be treated for their knife wounds. Watson was taken to Pinellas County Jail and charged with armed robbery and three counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

"From the other side of the road all I heard was 'stop that man! Stop that man!'" Jones, one of the good Samaritans, told WFLA. "He got me, from what the doctor said after my CT scan today, just millimeters from my heart. I probably would do it again tomorrow but I might look in their hands before I approach them."

Jones and the other victims' wounds are considered non-life threatening, and all are expected to be okay.
