The Washington Free Beacon's Ellison Barber discussed the "Catch-22" facing congressional Democrats due to the unpopularity of Obamacare and their simultaneous inability to capitulate to Republicans, who have long called for its delay.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) has stood firm on his decision to keep the enrollment deadline at March 31, where it is widely expected that Obamacare will fall short of its original 7-million signup goal.
"On the one hand, if they don't take up this bill which has been passed by some of the red state Democrats, then you're going to have Republicans saying, 'Why are you not taking up this bill that will help the American people?'" Barber said on Fox News. "If they do, then you're essentially conceding that a lot of what Republicans have been saying over the last few months was right. I don't know if they can really win either way."
