House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D., Calif.) husband, multimillionaire Paul Pelosi, pleaded guilty to drunk driving and causing injury, allowing him to avoid any jail time, Fox News reported Tuesday.

While Pelosi's plea deal includes a five-day jail term, Judge Joseph Solga said Pelosi had already served time and reduced the sentence to an eight-hour work program, some fines, and three years of probation.

Napa County police arrested Pelosi in May for driving drunk and crashing into another vehicle, causing "major collision damage." While a Napa attorney told Fox News that Pelosi's actions usually result in felony charges, the speaker's husband only faced two misdemeanor counts.

Pelosi "allegedly reeked of booze and slurred his words when officers arrived at the scene of the crash," the New York Post reported.

This is far from Pelosi's first scandal. At least twice this year alone, he cashed in on stocks for companies that would benefit from legislation backed by his wife, leading some internet stock traders to suggest the speaker is "making the big bucks off of insider information," Business Insider reported.
