The ladies of "The View" on Monday dissected a video of First Lady Melania Trump slapping away President Trump's hand while walking down the runway after stepping off Air Force One.
The first couple made headlines after disembarking from Air Force One for the president's visit to Israel. Melania Trump appeared to reject her husband's attempt to hold hands, slapping the president's hand away.
The incident was caught on tape, and ABC's "The View" played the footage three times, slowing down the recording while laughing about it.
"Maybe she thought he was reaching over to pinch her on the butt," Whoopi Goldberg said jokingly.
"She can't stand him," Joy Behar added.
"You flip that wrist, you're upset," Sunny Hostin quipped.
"Well, he always lets her walk behind him. He is such not a gentlemen to the girl," Behar commented.
Hostin then said the president has been publicly treating Melania better by allowing her to walk on Air Force One first.
In response to Hostin, Behar said, "Well, somebody's coaching him."
