A video released by Dubai-based Al Aan TV on Saturday shows Islamic State fighters bartering for captured Yezidi girls in an apparent marketplace for sex slaves.
"Today is the day of distribution, God willing," one militant said. "Each one takes his share."
This video reinforces the stereotyped image of IS militants as sex-crazed morons, as parodied on a Kurdish TV station in October. Various men in the room ask desperately "Where is my Yezidi girl?"
"I swear man I am searching for a girl," another man said. "I hope I find one."
The men discussed buying and selling Yezidi girls for money and weapons and agreed that the price depends on the color of the girl's eyes and the quality of her teeth. The men left little doubt as to what their intentions were after purchasing the girls.
"Today is the day of [female] slaves and we should have our share," one man said.
"Everyone is free to do what he wants with his share," another adds.
The Yezidis, who are considered "devil-worshippers" by IS, have been subject to abuse and sexual violence by the terrorist group.
