A video released by KurdSat TV in Iraq portrays Islamic State fighters as sex-crazed idiots obsessed with blood, killing, and milking male goats.
The parody video, translated and published by the Middle East Media Research Institute on Sunday, is another production in a series of indigenous Middle Eastern anti-IS propaganda films. Both Palestinians and Iraqis have joined in on the IS-bashing.
A group of Kurdish actors dressed in comically fake beards and military garb sang and played instruments against a backdrop of the IS flag, all while merrily strumming their machine guns and intermittently fighting with swords.
"We are bearded, dirty, and filthy; we are brainless with nothing in our heads," the mock jihadists sing. "We kill the dove in the sky and bring history to the present."
The refrain of the song effectively sums up the stupidity of IS militants:
We are ISIS, we are ISIS
We milk the goat even if it is male.
The remaining verses harp on the jihadists' terrible music, awful odor, and obsession with sex and violence.
"We strive for Jihad and sex, we are comfortable and happy to see blood," the mock jihadists sing. "Our pockets are full of Qatari money, our language is bullets and cutting."
