Fauci Fallacies at All-Time High

April 13, 2021

Over the last year, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, has taken center stage in the media as the lead medical voice on how to treat a country in the throes of a pandemic, but his guidances have not always been consistent. Fauci initially told 60 Minutes that "people should not be walking around with masks," but in January he told the Today Show's Savannah Guthrie that the idea of wearing two masks instead of one is "common sense."

In an interview with the New York Times in December, Fauci admitted to "deliberately ... moving the goal posts" on the level of coronavirus resistance required for herd immunity, claiming his gut tells him America is finally ready to hear what he really thinks.
