Last week's New York Mets edition of NFL picks didn't work great for my picks, but it worked great for my Mets.
Now that we made quick work of the Cubs, my full attention can go to football this weekend.
Here are my eight picks for week 7:
Buffalo Bills AT Jacksonville Jaguars
PICK: Jags +4.5
The game is being played in London, but our hearts will be with the girls of JagsPoolBooty.
Minnesota Vikings AT Detroit Lions
PICK: Vikings -1.5
I took the Lions last week and it was a stressful experience. Going to try and avoid that from now on.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers AT Washington Redskins
PICK: Bucs +3
The Skins got beat up last week and the Bucs offense finally got going.
New York Jets AT New England Patriots
PICK: Jets +9
Sorry, I had to throw in Murphy, who is a great looking guy and a model American.
Also, the Jets will win this game outright.
Atlanta Falcons AT Tennessee Titans
PICK: Falcons -4.5
I think Zach Mettenberger is better than Marcus Mariota and hope that Mariota plays. Falcons will cover either way.
Cleveland Browns AT St. Louis Rams
PICK: Rams -6.5
Yes, the Browns covered last week. But I will still bet against them until they give Johnny Football the job.
Dallas Cowboys AT New York Giants
PICK: Dallas +3.5
I can't really explain why, but Matt Cassel is a master at covering spreads.
Philadelphia Eagles AT Carolina Panthers
PICK: Panthers -3
The Eagles showed last week that they will have to try and win ugly this season. Cam Newton is great at dominating ugly football games.
