It's Valentine's Day, a time to celebrate love in all it many shapes and forms, including the lust for freedom our Founding Fathers must have felt when they signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
Unfortunately, our modern digital age too often lulls us into a state of cynicism and despair. We forget the meaning of true love, our senses distorted by the pornography industry and the slovenly antics of our celebrity idols. We lose our faith, and turn to social media as an outlet for our relentless anxieties. Before we know it, we're rage tweeting a corporation, or "dunking on" a problematic teen, and losing a little piece of ourselves in the process.
This is why we are lucky to live in a country governed by a bona fide expert in the field of love, a man who exudes passion with every breath, and works tirelessly each day to spread love — from sea to shining sea, and beyond. Donald Trump's relationship with his enchanting wife, Melania, is the apotheosis of true love, a shining beacon to which we all might aspire to reach, a blowtorch to the ice caps of cynicism and despair.
