The award for best actor in a thought-leading role goes to Howard Fineman, for this penetrating observation:

Indeed. Cold War Two, which will be waged entirely in fits of geopolitical microagression, strongly favors the Obama Era United States. Somewhere in Simferopol, a convoy of Russian security forces huddles in front of a department store window, taking in Jared Leto's important acceptance speech. "If this is what we're up against," one says, "we've already lost."
