Vice President Kamala Harris is an intellectual powerhouse. That goes without saying. Still, it's impossible for us mere mortals not to marvel every time she unleashes her magnificent rhetoric upon the world.
When she says, for example, "Oh, I have puns on water," we are forced to take her seriously. When she vows to help urban communities where the asphalt "exasperates [sic] the heat effect and where there are no trees and what that means in terms of the public health consequences of that," we know those urban communities are in good hands.
Joe Biden, the first octogenarian president in American history, couldn't have picked a more capable statesman stateswoman of color to assume control of the most powerful country on Earth in the likely event of his demise.
