Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders (I.) had pointed words Tuesday evening for those politicians who are not running on the issues.
"If you cannot win an election based on your ideas, then get the hell out of politics, tweeted Sanders, a self-declared Democratic socialist.
In 2016, Sanders ran for the Democratic presidential nomination based on his ideas. He lost to Hillary Clinton.
