Brzezinski Blasts Trump for Displaying Fake TIME Magazine Cover: 'He's Got a Screw Loose'

MSNBC's "Morning Joe" co-host Mike Brzezinski expressed concern for President Donald Trump's mental health after discussing his relationship with the media, specifically noting a phony Time magazine cover that has been displayed in various Trump properties.

"He's got a screw loose," Brzezinski said. "No seriously, how do you do that?"

"There's something wrong," she said, laughing. "There's something wrong."

Brzezinski also criticized Trump for his administration's media tactics. She discussed how Press Secretary Sean Spicer was forced to defend Trump's inauguration crowd size before moving onto the "make-believe" Time cover.

"A helpful insight for [White House spokeswoman] Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Someone might want to tell her that she's working for a president who forced his press secretary on day one to go out and lie about crowd size," Brzezinski said. "Forced him to do that, and he did that with his tail between his legs and ruined his credibility from day one."

She added he was "so needy."

"The make-believe cover is dated March 1, 2009, and highlights Trump's reality show 'The Apprentice,'" Brzezinski said. "Time magazine has since asked Trump to remove the phony cover. Phony."

"A phony, fake, pathetic, made-up cover of Time magazine," she added.
