President Donald Trump faced scrutiny after driving his golf cart on the green at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. on the weekend of June 9.

Outrage spread over Twitter after a member of the golf course named Mike Frank recorded a video of Trump driving on the green of his own golf course.

Trump was wearing a red "Make American Great Again" hat, a white collared polo shirt sporting the presidential logo, and drove a golf cart with an American flag sticker saying "President Trump" to designate his cart.

In the video Trump can be seen driving his cart around the green before heading towards the man filming the video. Trump politely asked the man recording the video if "everything was good."

"Everything is great," Frank said.

"We have good security fellas," Trump said in the video. "The best security in the history of golf."

Alleged golf fans on Twitter became outraged at the video of Trump driving on the green.

Ryan Ballengee, the owner of Golf News Net, criticized Trump for driving on the green at his own golf course.

HuffPost Sports criticized Trump for breaking "golf's golden rule."

Slate claimed Trump driving his cart on the green at Trump National Golf Club was the "most monstrous act of this or any presidency."

Deadspin, owned by Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas), said Trump driving his golf cart on the green is the act of "a true shithead."

Jon Levin pointed out that Trump golf cart is clearly marked with a "President Trump" sign.

The Women's U.S. Open will be held at Trump National Golf Club next month.
