Israeli Minister of Justice Tzipi Livni said it is "clear" that chemical weapons have been deployed in Syria in an interview Wednesday with CNN:

JESSICA YELLIN: Have you seen any evidence of proof that there has been chemical weapons used in Syria?

TZIPI LIVNI: It is clear for us here in Israel that it is being used and the problem is that while it's being used, we have Syria, we have Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the situation is that--the appearance is that it's not going to be only in Syria, Hezbollah can reach all these chemical weapons and use it against Israel in the future.

President Barack Obama said the administration is still investigating reports that chemical weapons were used in Syria at a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Wednesday.

"I have made clear that the use of chemical weapons is a game-changer," Obama reiterated during the press conference, also saying he was "deeply skeptical" of claims that chemical weapons were used by the Syrian opposition.
