"Morning Joe" co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski cracked themselves up on Thursday comparing Trump administration officials to people "pooping their pants."
After playing a clip of White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer addressing President Trump's viral "covfefe" tweet by saying some folks "knew exactly what he meant," Brzezinski sounded amused at the claim, according to Mediaite.
She then referenced something Scarborough told her off-screen.
"What is that like, Joe? I think you said something before the show that really kind of summed it up," she said. "You know what you said."
"What did I say?" Scarborough asked.
"You said it's like a kid pooping their pants and saying 'I meant to do that,'" she said, laughing.
"Oh, yes," he said. "Well, yes. It would be like somebody pooping their pants and then being like, 'Oh, that's modern art, don't you understand? I am making a statement against Russian aggression in Crimea."
The rest of the panel laughed. Co-host Willie Geist buried his head in his hands, and guest Bianna Golodryga was visibly uncomfortable.
Scarborough and Brzezinski, who recently became engaged, continued on with the jokes.
"That's what covfefe is," Brzezinski said. "That small group knows what covfefe is. Poopy pants."
Eventually, the other show's guests protested that they needed to move on.
"No mas!" Mike Barnicle said.
"All right! That's enough!" Geist said.
