O'Keefe: 'Sign of Desperation' that Clinton Compared Republicans to Terrorist Groups

Washington Post reporter Ed O’Keefe said Hillary Clinton’s statement comparing the GOP to terrorists on women’s issues looked desperate during his appearance on Face the Nation Sunday.

"I saw that as a sort of sign of desperation," O’Keefe said, pointing out that many Republicans see a double standard in the coverage of that comment.

He compared the Clinton campaign’s use of locking down super delegates to a student council race. In an apparent effort to push back on Vice President Joe Biden considering a run, the Clinton campaign claimed they already have one-fifth of the delegates needed for nomination locked up.

O’Keefe said it was "silly" for the campaign to believe the delegates they are counting on will stay with the Clinton camp if things continue to go south for the Democratic frontrunner.

"That’s like you telling your classmate that you are going to vote for him when really you are going to vote for the cute girl down the hall," O’Keefe said.
