Hillary Clinton said the Russian President depicted in the Netflix series House of Cards is exactly like the real Vladimir Putin at a Friday town hall in Iowa.
An audience member asked Clinton about her time as Secretary of State and to analyze the obstacles the United States faces in foreign policy.
"Finally just let me quickly say, Putin and Russia, troubling," Clinton said.
Clinton also added that the Russian President in House of Cards is an accurate portrayal of Putin.
"How many of you have seen the last season of House of Cards?" Clinton asked.
"I mean he is a lot taller than Putin, but the actor playing him based on my experience negotiating with and being with Putin is right on the money," Clinton said.
Clinton did not mention her work to try to reset the relationship between the United States and Russia, which is at its worst point since the Cold War.
