Maryland Democratic Gov. Martin O’Malley put on a rock show Monday for residents of the Leisure World, "a private, age-restricted community" based in Montgomery County.
O’Malley, who is touring across Maryland in support of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Anthony Brown, tucked his tie into his button-down shirt and broke out an acoustic guitar for residents of the retirement community, according to pictures of the concert posted on Facebook.
O’Malley, who strummed a black guitar, was accompanied by a harpist.
Leisure World is a sad, sad place, some say.
