Republican millennial candidate Marilinda Garcia, who is running for U.S. Congress in New Hampshire, has just taken the lead from her opponent Democratic Rep. Ann Kuster.
In a poll from WMUR in Manchester, N.H., Garcia has closed the gap between her and Kuster--and jumped 4 points ahead: 41-37 percent.
Kuster is falling in favorability, with 37 percent of New Hampshire Second District seeing her in a negative light. Only 28 percent view her favorably.
"For the most part, we thought that the GOP would easily grab the 1st Congressional District, and meanwhile, Annie Kuster would probably hold on in the 2nd Congressional District," said analyst James Pindell of WMUR Political Scoop. "These numbers flip this thinking on its head."
