CNN's Erin Burnett and Elise Labott said Vice President Joe Biden "threw the intelligence community under the bus" in his answer about why the administration continued to push a false narrative about the Benghazi attack.
Moderator Martha Raddatz asked Biden why the administration continued to talk about a protest outside the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi continued when State Department officials have said they knew there was no protest.
"Because that's exactly what we were told by the intelligence community," Biden replied.
