Retired Army General Jack Keane blasted Vice President Joe Biden and other members of the Obama administration for allegedly undermining the military’s strategy in Afghanistan, saying such behavior was "unprecedented".
"The Vice President and others did all that they could to not assist that strategy, claiming it was failing and were undermining the ability of General Stanley McChrystal to execute it," Keane said, "And that was quite interesting and somewhat unprecedented to see that kind of behavior from such high officials."
Keane's remarks come in the wake of assertions made in former Defense Secretary Robert Gates' new book, Duty.
