In a Fox News Sunday interview, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal joked the Obama administration will eventually get the healthcare.gov website fixed, perhaps with the help of Al Gore considering he "invented the internet."
However, Jindal noted the real underlying issue are not the glitches in the Obamacare website, but the glitches within the entire law itself.
"The real critical issue is when it comes time to schedule your grandmother's cancer surgery, what's going to happen then?" Jindal asked. "This is an incompetent rollout, but it is symptomatic of a liberal ideology that believes government should be running our healthcare":
CHRIS WALLACE: How realistic do you think that that target is, and how big of a problem do you think this is becoming for Democrats?
BOBBY JINDAL: Chris well I think they'll eventually the website, but let's remember this is the easy part. The real critical issue is when it comes time to schedule your grandmother's cancer surgery, what's going to happen then? I think this is symptomatic of a bigger problem. I've long wondered, is this administration the most incompetent or the most liberal administration in recent history? I think this issue, this policy shows that, to quote Hillary Clinton, "what difference does it make?" This is an incompetent rollout, but it is symptomatic of a liberal ideology that believes government should be running our healthcare. So I think this is just the tip of the iceberg, eventually they'll fix the internet problems, maybe they'll bring in Al Gore, the guy who says he invented the internet. Maybe they'll fix the website but the bigger issue is this is symptomatic, we don't need the government running our healthcare.
